Great shots! Ok i have got to get a tripod!
and read my manual a bit more.
Nice that u went back with your family. What did they do while u were birding? did you explore the area a bit more? Did u pay the admission or get season pass?
I sure am nosy..tee hee.
hehe - we swam, explored for shells and such and while birding i lost them, so i kept birding and they found me again - we paid, no season pass (yet)
Hey, you are quite the photographer! And I think that is a Greater Yellowlegs but I have been wrong before. My fave is the Least Sandpiper in the reeds--nice capture. Great that you brought your family back to the scene for you all the enjoy!
Hope to bird with you again soon--we need more birders like you!
Thanks Deej
Looks like an awsome place to go birding and shooting. Lots of great birds and pictures.
Great day of bird watching. Love the willet on the post and nice shot of the yellow-legs.
Thanks Vickie and yes it was Steve :)
I love the first picture the tree swallow on the sign post and the willet on one leg. Nice you got to go back and show the family. Also thanks for posting the birds we saw from Saturday.
I liked the willet. It's very pretty!!

Aha - the shorebirds are starting to come. Time to plan another coast trip. Little blue was interesting - did not know they ranged north to NE - can't remember seeing them at Plum Isl, tho tricolor is pretty regular there.
Nice to see you went back with your family and spent some more time birding. One can never do enough field work :)
